About the Role: Regional Sales Manager

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for everything from talent acquisition and team development to delivery volume optimization and customer satisfaction. You’ll directly manage a team of people-leaders, set clear targets, and provide hands-on coaching in stores and delivery centres. The role also requires you to develop market strategy, grow market share across all product lines, and increase profitability within the territory.

Responsibilities

This role spans both strategic and operational dimensions of regional management. From recruiting top talent to resolving customer concerns in real time, the Regional Sales Manager is the driving force behind Tesla’s performance and culture across the territory. Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Source, recruit, and onboard top talent for field retail, service-plus, and Tesla Center teams across the region
  • Directly manage people-leaders, reinforcing a culture of excellence through training standards, career pathing, succession planning, and employee retention
  • Provide hands-on coaching and real-time feedback in stores and delivery centres, setting clear individual and team targets
  • Mediate and resolve customer concerns proactively while maintaining safety and security standards in collaboration with EH&S and Workplace and Security Teams
  • Utilize data reports and dashboards to guide strategic direction and implement process management improvements
  • Demonstrate fluency in local market sales and DMV requirements, partnering with fleet logistics to optimize sales and delivery processes
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across departments, developing market strategy and growing commercial awareness
  • Drive market share growth across all product lines, elevate brand awareness, and increase profitability throughout the territory

Requirements / Skills

Tesla is seeking a candidate with a proven track record in multi-site leadership and sales operations. The ideal person brings strong analytical instincts, a hands-on coaching style, and the ability to manage complexity without losing sight of the details. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently are required for this role.
