Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Recruiter at Tesla, your day-to-day work centres on connecting the right people to the right roles across a complex, high-output facility. Each responsibility plays a direct part in keeping Tesla’s production operations running at full strength.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers in the Manufacturing organization to assess talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategy
- Manage time, resources, and priorities effectively while providing regular, data-driven updates to business partners and stakeholders
- Source top passive talent using a variety of recruiting techniques and tools, including AI-assisted sourcing
- Conduct thorough behavioural-based interviews and phone screens to evaluate both technical baseline and cultural fit for the Tesla environment
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process
- Negotiate offers skillfully with awareness of pertinent employment legislation and current market trends
- Lead recruiting projects from start to finish, balancing efficiency with quality of hire
Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys the challenge of high-volume skilled trades recruiting and can navigate complex hiring environments with confidence and precision.
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience with a demonstrated track record in sourcing and assessing skilled trades and leadership talent
- Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, guiding them through talent sourcing and assessment
- Genuine interest in technology and continuous learning throughout your career; experience with AI recruiting tools is considered an asset
- Skilled in offer negotiation with working knowledge of employment legislation and labour market trends
- Project leadership ability — the capacity to drive recruiting initiatives to successful completion while balancing quality and efficiency
- A combination of corporate and agency/executive search experience is preferred
- Must be able to work onsite at the Markham, Ontario facility
