About the Role: Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Analyst, your primary focus will be on ensuring that pricing changes for online-only SKUs are calculated correctly and executed accurately across systems. You’ll own freight calculation activities, perform quality checks, and maintain the documentation and workflows that keep pricing operations running smoothly. This isn’t just about crunching numbers—it’s about building and improving the processes that make accurate pricing scalable.

You’ll work closely with Pricing Specialists and cross-functional partners to support project and change initiatives, validate competitive data inputs, and help evolve the future state of pricing operations. The broadband salary range for this role is $23.00/hr – $37.00/hr, with a typical hiring range of $23.00/hr – $30.00/hr depending on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the accuracy and execution of pricing across Canadian Tire’s online-only product assortment. From validating pricing inputs against business rules to owning freight calculations and supporting tool development, these responsibilities sit at the core of how pricing operations function and scale.

  • Calculate, validate, and quality-check regular pricing for online-only SKUs, ensuring alignment with pricing rules, business logic, and governance standards
  • Execute approved price changes accurately in downstream systems in a timely manner, working closely with Pricing Specialists
  • Own freight calculation activities for online-only SKUs, including maintaining freight percentage assumptions used in pricing models
  • Support development and enhancement of pricing tools, templates, and workflows—including calculators, KNIME-based processes, and Power BI outputs—to improve accuracy and scalability
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies in current pricing workflows and partner with Pricing Strategy to improve them
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials to support consistency and continuity as the online assortment grows
  • Support project and change initiatives related to 2P pricing operations, including testing, data validation, and cross-functional coordination
  • Partner with Merchandising and Market Intelligence to document and validate competitive data inputs
  • Deliver against project timelines and milestones, ensuring accurate and timely execution of pricing-related deliverables

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in pricing, analytics, or operations roles

  • Familiarity with pricing tools, automation tools, or BI platforms such as Power BI is considered an asset
  • Experience supporting SOP creation, data testing, or operational process improvement is preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Pricing, Merchandising, and Strategy teams
  • Learning mindset with curiosity to build skills in tools like KNIME, Power BI, and pricing platforms
