About the Role: Practice Customer Solution Specialist, Oracle

As a Practice Customer Solution Specialist on the Google Cloud team, your primary mandate is to accelerate technical wins and enterprise cloud adoption for customers with Oracle-based workloads. You’ll serve as the technical bridge between Google Cloud’s platform capabilities and the real-world needs of customers migrating from or integrating Oracle database infrastructure. This includes engaging with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership, translating complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Collaboration is central to this role. Google offers a highly competitive compensation package for this role. In Canada, the salary range is $194,000 – $198,000 CAD, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package. For US-based candidates, the range is $152,000 – $221,000 USD with the same bonus and equity structure. US employees are also eligible for health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; a 401(k) with company match; 20 days of vacation annually; paid sick time; 13 paid holidays; and generous maternity and parental leave (up to 28–30 weeks for maternity leave and 18 weeks of baby bonding leave).

Responsibilities

This role demands a combination of technical leadership, customer engagement, and solution development. You’ll be working directly with enterprise customers throughout the business cycle — from initial technical evaluation all the way through to adoption and ramp — ensuring that Oracle workloads transition successfully to Google Cloud. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Drive technical solutions for complex Oracle workloads, supporting customers from technical evaluation through successful adoption and ramp-up on Google Cloud
  • Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept by combining business strategy with hands-on coding to deliver functional, customer-tailored solutions that secure buy-in from domain experts
  • Provide deep technical consultation to customers, acting as a trusted advisor and building lasting relationships with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Contribute reusable assets by leveraging insights from customer engagements to build scalable solutions in partnership with the go-to-market team
  • Document and prioritize customer feature requests and issues within product development systems, helping drive resolution and influence the Google Cloud roadmap

Requirements / Skills
