Responsibilities

As a Parts Advisor, your daily work keeps the entire service operation on track. From managing inventory to coordinating shipments and supporting technicians, these responsibilities ensure Tesla customers receive timely, high-quality service.

  • Source and allocate parts from Distribution Centres and other service locations to match vehicle service appointments
  • Monitor inventory within the parts management system and communicate parts availability and updates to relevant team members
  • Review upcoming appointments to ensure they are properly prepared and documented in Tesla’s internal systems
  • Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service centre locations as needed
  • Process warranty returns and manage quality assurance shipments, including the handling of hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts, both standard inventory and special-order items
  • Escalate supplier issues to the Regional Parts Manager, acting as point of contact to vendors and providing constructive feedback
  • Pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift, coordinating with third parties when required
