Overnight Associate – Walmart – Woodstock, NB

About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Woodstock, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing product, and getting everything in place before store opening. Unlike day or evening fulfillment roles, this position places a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in backroom bins and stocking shelves overnight.

Working as part of a team, you’ll help strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational requirements. Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment is a core part of the role — you’ll follow Walmart’s company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and make sure all displays and fixtures are properly secured throughout your shift.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.05 per hour. Responsibilities

The overnight shift at Walmart Woodstock centres around receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, and preparing the store for opening. Every task you complete directly impacts the customer experience the next morning. Here’s what a typical overnight shift looks like:

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each overnight shift
• Set, merchandise, and sign product features and displays
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various types of merchandise
• Label and stock backroom bins — a key differentiator of this role compared to day/evening fulfillment positions
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and assist customers if required
• Label the sales floor to ensure it’s ready for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
