Walmart Canada’s Supercenter in Ville Saint-Laurent, Québec is looking for a motivated Front End Team Lead to join its retail team. This Regular/Permanent position puts you at the centre of daily store operations, leading a team of associates to deliver the kind of shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

About the Role: Front End Team Lead
As a Front End Team Lead, you’ll assist in leading front-end and department processes, respond to customer and associate inquiries, and develop your team through active coaching and training. You’ll plan and execute department activities based on workload while also pitching in on the sales floor whenever needed.
Safety, cleanliness, and strong team communication are central to this role. You’ll lead the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, set goals, track productivity, and ensure that both company procedures and safe work practices are consistently followed throughout your area.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $21.85/hour. Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role covers a wide range of front-end duties — from greeting customers and delegating tasks to coordinating breaks and completing administrative functions in Workday. As the team lead, your actions directly shape the customer experience and the performance of the associates around you.
- Greet and assist all customers in a polite and friendly manner, promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions
- Resolve customer concerns and handle associate issues, providing guidance and escalating as appropriate
- Delegate and follow up on overall front-end operations, ensuring proper coverage and coordinating breaks
- Lead the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, providing updates, setting goals, and tracking productivity (scanning accuracy, company programs, Walmart Protection Plan, charity events, etc.)
- Tour assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to identify and act on training opportunities; develop associates through teaching and feedback
- Review completed schedules with the People Lead and support performance management and growth conversations
- Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management with administrative responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policy, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
- Ensure emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, evacuation protocols, down registers, and emergency codes
- Support recruiting and onboarding of new associates in partnership with the Coach and People Lead
