About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving dock to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, labelling products, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store is fully set up before opening. The overnight shift places a stronger emphasis on backroom organization, bin stocking, and labelling compared to daytime roles.

Safety and cleanliness are core to this position. You’ll be expected to follow Walmart’s health and safety policies, complete safety sweep logs, and maintain secure displays and fixtures throughout your shift. Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each shift
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label and organize merchandise into backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and assist customers when needed
• Set, merchandise, and sign product features throughout the store
• Label the sales floor to ensure readiness before opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
