Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.75 per hour. Responsibilities

Working as a Cashier at Walmart Sherbrooke means you’re the last point of contact before a customer leaves the store — and that interaction matters. • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner at the start of every interaction
• Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise under the EAS Program
• Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise as needed
• Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper lifting techniques and keeping a clean work area
• Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to company policies, and awareness of surroundings
• Refer appropriate service and transactional matters to a Customer Service Manager as required
