About the Role: Outcome Solutions Architect Manager II
As an Outcome Solutions Architect Manager II, you’ll lead a team of Outcome Technical Sales Specialists who partner directly with customers to provide trusted technical guidance, accelerate workload migration, and eliminate technical blockers. You’ll be responsible for fostering a culture of technical ownership and ensuring your team delivers measurable value against customer consumption and delivery plans.
Beyond day-to-day team management, you’ll develop executive-level customer relationships, contribute to business growth forecasting, and work closely with partners and internal Google teams to resolve complex technical challenges. The role requires up to 30% travel and demands fluency in both technical and strategic conversations with customers and stakeholders alike.

- Lead and develop a team of Outcome Technical Sales Specialists, with a focus on culture, strategy, and ongoing skills development
- Balance technical leadership with operational excellence, tracking team progress against delivery plans to drive workload ramp and adoption
- Develop executive relationships with customers, acting as a trusted partner on cloud transformation, expansion opportunities, and escalations
- Work cross-functionally across Google, partners, and your team to resolve technical roadblocks, including capacity constraints and product issues affecting customer satisfaction
- Contribute to business growth forecasting and support broader Google Cloud sales objectives
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and prototyping sessions with customers to accelerate technical decision-making and workload migration
Requirements / Skills

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
- Leadership experience including people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching responsibilities
- Cloud and infrastructure expertise — hands-on experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
- Customer-facing technical skills — proven ability to lead technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as required
- Pre-sales or technical sales management experience (preferred) within a professional services or sales engineering context
- Experience with distributed systems including data platforms, AI/ML, and infrastructure (preferred)
