Responsibilities

As an Optical Student at Costco Vaughan, your daily responsibilities span member-facing service, optical support tasks, and general warehouse upkeep. Each of these duties plays an important role in ensuring a smooth, professional experience for members visiting the optical department.

  • Assist members in selecting eyeglass frames and lens options, providing prompt and courteous service throughout the process

  • Stock merchandise and maintain department standards for production, record keeping, merchandising, and product storage
  • Clean the department through spraying, wiping, mopping, emptying trash, and operating the trash compactor and cardboard bailer
  • Support other areas of the warehouse as needed when requested
