About the Role: Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities
Each shift as an Operations Supervisor at FedEx Barrie involves direct oversight of station sort operations and the people who power them. You’ll be responsible for keeping things moving safely, accurately, and in line with company standards — while stepping up quickly when issues arise.

Requirements / Skills
FedEx is looking for a candidate who brings both supervisory experience and a genuine commitment to leading people well. - College degree required
- 2 years of FedEx sort operations or senior-level hourly role experience, OR 2 years of supervisory experience in a related industry
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Ability to complete all required training including Dangerous Goods (DG) certification
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills
- EXCEL Leadership Development Stream participation is considered an asset
