About the Role: Operations Clerk

As an Operations Clerk at DHL’s Bolton location, you’ll be the administrative backbone of a busy logistics operation. You’ll handle everything from coding delivery manifests and preparing billing to entering delivery data into the computer system and compiling statistical reports. This role requires someone who can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball — all while keeping the warehouse running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll also support dispatching when needed, liaise with customers to confirm delivery details, and help resolve owner/operator settlement issues. Accuracy, reliability, and good communication are central to succeeding in this position. Responsibilities

The Operations Clerk plays a key administrative role in keeping DHL’s logistics operation organized and on track. From processing paperwork to handling customer inquiries, the work you do each shift directly supports the flow of goods through the supply chain.

  • Code delivery manifests and prepare billing documentation accurately
  • Compile statistical information from manifest data and prepare related reports
  • Input delivery information into the computer system
  • Assist with dispatching as needed to support daily operations
  • Handle owner/operator settlement problems and follow up as required
  • Contact customers to confirm delivery details and address postponements or cancellations against delivery manifests
  • Prepare purchase orders for signature and maintain department files
  • Answer telephones and type correspondence for department managers

Requirements / Skills
