Responsibilities

The Member Service Assistant role covers a broad range of duties that span member-facing service, safety oversight, and security monitoring. Each responsibility plays a part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly and ensuring every member has a positive visit.

  • Greet and verify members entering the warehouse, smile, make eye contact, and confirm membership cards
  • Conduct hourly safety and security inspections of the warehouse and perimeter on foot, correcting hazards like spills, trip hazards, and blocked exits
  • Complete inspection forms and report results to the duty manager after each check
  • Track member entry counts using a handheld counter and report half-hourly totals to the Front End
  • Monitor warehouse access and discretely observe armored vehicle pickups, jewelry, and register drawer set-up and retrieval while holding a panic button
  • Check receipts at exit — verify accuracy and validity of receipts against merchandise, mark with a highlighter, and thank each member
  • Conduct after-hours perimeter checks from your personal vehicle, communicate via 2-way radio, and report suspicious activity to the duty manager or police as needed
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse as required

Requirements / Skills
