About the Role: Audiologist (Licensed)

As the Dispensing Audiologist at this Costco Hearing Centre, you’ll be responsible for the complete hearing care journey — assessing members’ hearing needs, selecting and recommending appropriate hearing instruments, and delivering thorough hearing aid fitting and validation services. Responsibilities

The Dispensing Audiologist at Costco’s Kitchener Hearing Centre handles a broad range of clinical and administrative tasks each day. From conducting assessments to fitting hearing instruments and maintaining detailed records, your work directly impacts member health outcomes and satisfaction.

  • Assess hearing using a full range of diagnostic procedures including history taking, air and bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing
  • Recommend and dispense appropriate hearing instruments or refer members when clinically indicated
  • Fit and verify hearing aid performance through evaluations, fittings, verification, and validation procedures
  • Perform impressions, shell repairs, and modifications as required
  • Maintain records ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards
  • Stay knowledgeable about all products and services offered through the Hearing Centre
  • Collaborate with support staff to allocate tasks appropriately and maintain clinic efficiency
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Requirements / Skills

Costco is seeking a fully qualified Dispensing Audiologist with the credentials to practise in Ontario. Beyond technical qualifications, the ideal candidate brings strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to member-centred care.

  • Masters Degree in Audiology with all qualifications required to dispense hearing aids in Ontario
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Clinical experience in audiology and/or hearing instrument dispensing is preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong technical aptitude for hearing instrument work
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage a busy clinical caseload
  • Strong communication and counselling skills to support members through their hearing care journey
  • Computer proficiency for documentation and clinical software
