Market Activation and Growth Principal Lead – Google – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Google
Google’s Global Business Organization Education (GBOedu) team is hiring a Market Activation and Growth Principal Lead based in Toronto, Ontario. This senior-level role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, sales enablement, and learning innovation — and it carries country-wide ownership over how Google develops its sales capability across the Canadian market.
This isn’t a traditional training or L&D role. As the Principal Lead for Canada Sales, you’ll function as a strategic advisor to regional VPs and Directors, designing and deploying high-impact Go-to-Market (GTM) enablement strategies directly tied to revenue outcomes. From large enterprise accounts to global customer segments, your work will directly shape how Google competes and sells across Canada.
About the Role: Market Activation and Growth Principal Lead
The Market Activation and Growth team bridges global product priorities with local market execution. As the Principal Lead for Canada, you’ll hold complete strategic and operational ownership over the learning, growth, and sales proficiency agenda for the entire Canadian market — covering both Large Customer Sales (LCS) and Global Customer Sales (GCS). You’ll translate global initiatives into localized, high-impact business transformations and deploy AI-powered coaching tools and in-the-flow learning applications to accelerate sales velocity across Canada’s must-win accounts.
You’ll also co-architect Americas learning roadmaps, lead executive offsites and group workshops, manage the Global-Regional-Local (GRL) operating model, and build a thriving coaching network. Cross-functional collaboration with rGTM, pGTM, and Product/Skill teams is central to the role, as is your ability to identify revenue-blocking skill gaps and address them with precision and speed.
