About the Role: ISV Senior Account Manager

As an ISV Senior Account Manager at AWS, you’ll own a defined territory with accountability for revenue, pipeline, and market penetration. Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position in Calgary, AB is $123,600 to $206,300 CAD annually. As part of Amazon’s total compensation package, additional elements may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. AWS also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and resources to support health and well-being. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the primary driver of cloud revenue and AWS adoption across your assigned enterprise accounts in Canada. Each responsibility contributes directly to Amazon’s broader mission of helping businesses of all sizes innovate and grow in the cloud.

  • Drive revenue and market share within a defined territory or industry vertical, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory coverage plans aligned to business goals
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to enterprise customer needs
  • Accelerate customer adoption of AWS by engaging at the CXO level as well as with developers and IT architects
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent and predictable revenue performance
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive deeper cloud adoption within key accounts
  • Manage contract negotiations for large-scale technology deals from identification through close
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with key enterprise accounts to support sustained growth

Requirements / Skills

AWS is looking for a seasoned sales professional with a strong track record in enterprise technology sales — someone who can navigate complex organisations and close significant deals. The ideal candidate brings both technical credibility and business acumen to the table.

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives
  • Proven experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical work experience
  • Experience with AWS and technology-as-a-service models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) is a strong asset
  • Experience within a high-growth technology company is considered an asset
