Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Business Development Representative role at DHL Express in Mississauga is a B2B sales position covering Canada-wide prospecting and small-account management with an uncapped OTE of $60,000–$100,000. A resume for this posting should put sales experience or CRM use front and centre, since both appear as preferred qualifications tied directly to the prospecting and pipeline duties.
Resume & Application Tips: The posting uses terms like pipeline management, revenue growth, and B2B sales: match that language when describing past work. If you’ve used a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot, name it and describe what you did with it. If you’ve worked in outbound sales, a line such as “Contacted 60+ prospects weekly by phone and email, converting X% to qualified leads” gives the format that suits this kind of role. Note any French or Mandarin fluency, or willingness to relocate, as the posting flags these as a plus.
Interview Preparation: Prepare a real example of a time you exceeded a sales target or re-engaged a lapsed client, as both are central to the role. Be ready to speak to your approach to time and task management in a high-volume outbound environment, since the posting names this as a requirement. The posting does not state a base salary separate from the OTE range, so it’s worth asking how the base and commission split is structured and what a typical ramp-up period looks like for new hires.
