Operations Finance (OFRP) Intern – Amazon – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Amazon
This is a 12-week summer internship with Amazon in Toronto, ON, running between May and September 2027. The position pays $50,405.00 CAD annually and is in-person only, with no remote work option.
As an Operations Finance Rotation Program (OFRP) intern, you’ll own an individual project that receives attention from senior leadership, and conduct data-intensive financial analysis to support decisions across Amazon’s supply chain.
About the Role: Operations Finance (OFRP) Intern
You’ll be placed on a finance team supporting one area of Amazon’s supply chain, which may include Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Logistics, Amazon Air, or another team. From that placement, you’ll take ownership of a dedicated intern project and drive it from analysis through to recommendation.
The work combines financial modelling, process improvement, and reporting. You’ll partner with operational leadership and frontline associates to identify opportunities, then design reporting that lets business partners act on your findings.
The program is not rotational during the internship: you support one team for the full 12 weeks. After the internship, a full-time offer in the two-year AFRP (which is rotational and requires willingness to relocate multiple times) may follow.
Benefits and Salary
The annualized starting pay is $50,405.00 CAD for the duration of the internship. Amazon also provides basic life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, and other resources to support health and well-being.

Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Operations Finance (OFRP) Intern role at Amazon in Toronto is a 12-week, in-person summer internship centred on owning a supply chain finance project. Put your data analysis and financial modelling experience first on your resume, since the project requires driving decisions through quantitative work. Your Excel and SQL skills should appear early, tied directly to any financial or operations analysis you have done.
Resume & Application Tips: The posting calls out a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028, so state your expected convocation date clearly. Highlight any coursework or project work in finance, supply chain, or operations where you used data to reach a recommendation. A line showing a measurable outcome strengthens the application, for example: “Analyzed 10,000 rows of sales data in Excel to identify a 12% cost reduction opportunity” gives the format and the scale that fits this kind of role.
Interview Preparation: Prepare a concrete example of a time you worked through an ambiguous problem using data, since delivering results in an ambiguous environment is listed as a preferred qualification. Be ready to speak to your willingness to relocate throughout Canada, both for the internship and for a potential full-time AFRP offer. A worthwhile question to ask: which supply chain team (Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Logistics, Amazon Air, or another) you would be placed with, since the posting leaves that open.
