Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: This part-time Courier role at Federal Express Corporation Canada in Woodbridge involves driving an assigned route to pick up and deliver packages while providing direct customer service. A candidate should put their valid driver’s licence and clean driving record at the top of their resume, since a driving record check is a condition of selection, followed by any customer-oriented work experience, which strengthens an application even though one year is listed as preferred.
Resume & Application Tips: Your driver’s abstract will be reviewed, so note your licence class (Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) and confirm your record shows two or fewer violations in the past 24 months. Describe any past delivery, logistics, or customer-facing work in concrete terms: routes covered, volume handled, or customer issues resolved. If you have any familiarity with Canadian Customs regulations or FedEx Canada operations, include it, as the posting lists it as an asset. A line such as “Delivered 80+ stops daily with zero missed pickups” shows the kind of output this work demands.
Interview Preparation: Prepare a real example of a time you managed multiple tasks under time pressure, since the posting specifically asks for the ability to multitask and work in a highly pressured environment. Be ready to confirm your availability for the stated days (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday) and your willingness to work flexible schedules and holidays. Two questions worth asking: what the typical package volume per shift looks like, and what the pre-placement driver assessment covers so you can prepare appropriately.
