About the Role: Integrated Warehouse Specialist (IWS)

As an IWS Warehouse Specialist, you’ll be following the direction of the Warehouse Team Lead to complete daily tasks involving cargo inspection, packaging, labelling, staging, and loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, ocean containers, and airline pallets. Every shipment that moves through this facility depends on the accuracy and efficiency of your work.

Beyond the physical handling of freight, you’ll be expected to identify and segregate non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo, maintain detailed records of shipment movements, and uphold all company safety codes and regulations. Keeping a clean and organized workspace is part of the job, and rotating shifts are part of the schedule — so flexibility is key.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, this role keeps the warehouse running smoothly by ensuring every piece of cargo is accurately inspected, correctly handled, and dispatched on time. Working closely with the Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll be executing a variety of tasks that directly impact shipment accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery.

  • Follow instructions from the Warehouse Team Lead to prioritize and complete daily inspection tasks efficiently
  • Inspect and handle cargo, performing test inspections for piece count, weight, dimensions, and physical condition
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo, advising the applicable department and Team Leader
  • Package cargo safely and securely for transport within and outside the warehouse facility
  • Label shipments in accordance with the requirements of relevant departments
  • Transfer cargo to staging areas for dispatch according to generated manifests
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, ocean containers, and airline pallets, ensuring all trucks are chocked and in gear
  • Maintain clean working areas and adhere to company safety codes and regulations at all times
  • Store cargo safely and efficiently within warehouse racks and designated bulk areas

Requirements / Skills
