Full Time Delivery Driver – UPS – Surrey, BC

UPS is hiring a Full Time Courier/Delivery Driver based out of their Surrey Hub Facility in Surrey, British Columbia. About the Role: Full Time Delivery Driver

As a UPS Delivery Driver at the Surrey location, you’ll be responsible for executing your daily delivery and pick-up schedule on time and with care. Each shift begins with a pre-trip vehicle inspection and ends with a post-trip inspection to ensure your assigned vehicle stays roadworthy and compliant. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating routes independently and handling unexpected dispatch issues on the go.

This position demands strong customer service skills and a professional attitude — you’re often the face of UPS to the businesses and residents you serve. Following established safety and operational procedures is a key part of the role, as UPS is a federally regulated workplace with high standards for compliance and conduct. All driver candidates must complete a series of interviews and a driving competency test to qualify; background and reference checks are also required.

Benefits and Salary

This role starts at $20.00 per hour, with a guaranteed wage progression that takes drivers to a top rate of above $30.00 per hour upon completing progression (conditions apply; current effective wage includes rate premiums — speak with the Talent Acquisitions team for details). Employees are paid weekly, every Friday. Responsibilities

Working as a UPS Delivery Driver means owning your route from start to finish. Every day looks a bit different — volume changes, stops vary — but your core responsibilities stay consistent and are what keep the operation running smoothly.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your assigned vehicle daily to ensure safety and compliance
• Execute daily delivery and pick-up schedules efficiently and on time across your assigned route
• Navigate routes using road maps and trip planning aids to maintain efficiency
• Resolve dispatch problems on route using good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop, representing UPS professionally
• Handle packages safely, including lifting up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted on an occasional basis
• Follow all set and standard procedures in accordance with UPS operational and safety policies

Requirements / Skills
