About the Role: Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain, you’ll be responsible for operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product throughout the facility. You’ll also be checking all inbound and outbound products to ensure they’re free of damage, properly coded, and match customer requirements — all while keeping the warehouse running smoothly and safely.

This full-time position pays $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be operating forklift and other powered equipment for the majority of your shift, keeping product moving safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Your work supports accurate inventory tracking and ensures that shipments leaving and arriving at the facility meet quality and quantity standards.

  • Load, unload, and move products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment for approximately 80% of each shift
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, verifying that the correct number and types of items are loaded
  • Keep accurate records and reports to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS safety standards
  • Verify load accuracy by checking load count, stability, and product condition, and report any variances
  • Manage equipment power sources by changing batteries or LP tanks as needed
  • Maintain the facility and equipment in a clean, neat, and orderly condition
  • Assist with physical inventories and complete daily equipment inspections

Requirements / Skills

  • Forklift operator certificate or successful completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment
