About the Role: Forklift Operator
As a Second Shift Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain, you’ll be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and staging products using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment for roughly 80% of your shift. You’ll also verify load accuracy, maintain inventory records, and ensure all inbound and outbound products meet customer requirements. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, making it a great fit for those who prefer afternoon hours.

Benefits and Salary
This position pays $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of DHL’s warehouse operations in Ancaster, keeping product flowing accurately and safely through the facility. Every task you complete — from verifying load counts to maintaining equipment — directly supports on-time order fulfillment and warehouse efficiency.
- Operate a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products for approximately 80% of your shift
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of product are accurately loaded
- Verify load accuracy by checking load counts, stability, and product condition — reporting any variances as needed
- Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy throughout the shift
- Inspect inbound and outbound products to confirm they are free of damage or infestation and match customer requirements
- Complete daily inspections of all equipment before operating
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed
- Assist with physical inventories and keep the facility’s equipment and materials neat and orderly
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards at all times
Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings hands-on forklift experience and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures — someone who can be counted on to get product where it needs to go, accurately and on time.
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- Six months of forklift operation experience required
- Six months of warehouse experience, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Ability to pick by hand up to 60 lbs, approximately 75% of the shift
- Strong attention to detail for load verification and inventory accuracy
- Commitment to workplace safety standards and proper equipment handling
