Engagement Manager, Professional Services – Amazon Web Services – Canada
Location: Montreal, QC | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly skilled Engagement Manager to join the AWS Professional Services team in Canada. This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business — someone who can lead complex cloud solution projects while keeping clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams aligned every step of the way.
In this position, you’ll be the bridge between business objectives and technical execution, guiding enterprise clients through cloud migration, implementation projects, and broader IT transformation initiatives. You’ll work with AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework, and you’ll bring credibility to every technical conversation you lead.
About the Role: Engagement Manager, Professional Services
The AWS ProServe Engagement Manager is responsible for owning the full delivery lifecycle of complex cloud projects. From distilling customer requirements into clear technical specifications to decomposing multi-layered problems into actionable deliverables, you’ll bring structure and momentum to everything your team works on. You’ll be expected to earn and maintain relevant AWS certifications, contribute to documentation standards, and communicate technical concepts fluently to both engineering and executive audiences.
This role also carries a leadership dimension — you’ll guide other project managers, foster cross-functional collaboration, and proactively manage risks before they become blockers. As you grow in the role, you’ll take on increasingly complex engagements, help shape cross-organizational technical strategies, and contribute to best practices across the global ProServe community.
Benefits and Salary
AWS is committed to work-life balance and offers flexibility as a core part of its working culture. Employees benefit from robust career development resources, mentorship programmes, and access to ongoing learning opportunities including conferences focused on diversity and inclusion.
