About the Role: Customer Experience Specialist

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests walking into the Tesla showroom and the final touchpoint when a new owner takes delivery of their vehicle. Your days will be filled with meaningful customer interactions — understanding what brought someone in, tailoring a product experience to their needs, arranging demo drives and Full Self-Driving demonstrations, and making sure every new Tesla owner leaves feeling confident and excited.

Beyond the customer-facing side, you’ll also play an important role in sales pipeline health — capturing guest information, scheduling test drives, and identifying high-intent buyers. Strong teamwork, organization, and reliability are key to succeeding in this position. Please note that this role requires a motor vehicle salesperson licence issued by the Ontario provincial regulator, as it is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be active on the showroom floor every day — engaging guests, delivering product education, and supporting new owners through vehicle pickup. Each responsibility contributes directly to the Tesla customer experience and the broader mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

  • Engage walk-in guests promptly and personally, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive
  • Build customer profiles through meaningful conversations to understand their needs, timeline, and interest in purchasing
  • Educate and inspire guests by answering questions and tailoring product experiences, including demo drives and Full Self-Driving demonstrations
  • Conduct delivery orientations that highlight key vehicle features and ensure new owners feel confident and excited
  • Support sales pipeline by capturing guest information, scheduling test drives, and identifying high-intent buyers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all current and prospective Tesla owners
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to meet evolving business needs

Requirements / Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools to manage customer information effectively
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail setting
  • Valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s licence (Canadian), as required for this role
  • Motor vehicle salesperson licence/certificate issued by the Ontario provincial regulator — a condition of employment for this location
