Cloud Security Architect – Amazon Web Services – Québec, QC
Location: Montreal, QC | Company: Amazon
AWS Professional Services is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Architect to join its team in Québec. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll help organizations navigate their cloud journey by designing and implementing secure AWS solutions that meet both technical requirements and business objectives. If you thrive at the intersection of deep security expertise and consultative delivery, this role was built for you.
Working alongside customers ranging from fast-growing startups to large government and enterprise clients, you’ll serve as a trusted security advisor — assessing existing environments, architecting scalable solutions, and guiding project teams through the full implementation lifecycle. Your work will directly influence how clients adopt cloud technology safely and confidently.
About the Role: Cloud Security Architect
In this position, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of complex, scalable, and secure AWS architectures tailored to each customer’s unique needs. From gathering requirements with stakeholders to proposing risk mitigation strategies and driving implementation, you’ll be in the thick of every phase. You’ll also stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cloud security technologies to ensure clients receive forward-looking guidance.
Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, contribute to the broader AWS community through mentorship and knowledge sharing, and help build reusable frameworks and components that elevate the practice as a whole. A federal Government of Canada security clearance — or the ability to obtain one — is required given the nature of some client engagements. Bilingualism in French and English is also required for this position.
