The Batch Processing Analyst operates within a high-volume express logistics setting where financial accuracy and process integrity are paramount. The role also involves direct coordination with raters, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

The Batch Processing Analyst at DHL handles a wide range of operational and compliance-driven tasks tied to duty billing. Each day involves managing data accuracy, batch execution, and cross-departmental coordination to keep shipment billing on track and compliant with federal regulations.

  • Execute LVS batch processing procedures, including DTP & DTU batches
  • Process daily HVS batch data and assign tasks efficiently to raters
  • Prepare and distribute files to raters, ensuring timely completion of DTP batches through effective coordination
  • Review and remove DTU account numbers from Mixed DTU batches to ensure data accuracy
  • Oversee data quality and conduct audits, including DTP & DTU validation checks during batch processing
  • Validate HS codes and tariff classifications prior to system upload to ensure compliance
  • Apply for and manage Import/Export permits and Certificates of Eligibility as required
  • Review clearance documentation including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping records for compliance with federal regulations
  • Conduct F-type batch reconciliation and compile supporting data for monthly K-84 reporting
  • Provide waybill-level reconciliation reports and below-threshold reports to the Finance department
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support batch processing operations

Requirements / Skills
