The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $19.05 per hour. • Maintain quality and visual appearance of bakery merchandise including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Stock the department fully and ensure it is ready for business at all times
• Price and sign merchandise accurately according to Walmart’s standards
• Follow food safety procedures including cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and proper food handling
• Rotate products and monitor sell-by and expiration dates to ensure freshness
• Prepare bakery items by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines
• Manage ordering, clearance, and markdowns following proper procedures for pricing and labels
• Ensure displays are secured in a safe and proper manner at all times
