Overnight Associate – Walmart – Victoriaville, QC

About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Victoriaville, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. This involves unloading trailers, organizing the backroom, and making sure products are properly labelled and placed. The overnight shift has a stronger emphasis on backroom labelling and stocking compared to day or evening fulfilment roles.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that strategically plans and executes tasks based on the night’s workload. Safety and cleanliness are central to how the team operates — completing safety sweep logs, securing displays and fixtures, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment are all part of the job.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.75 per hour. Responsibilities

The Overnight Associate role is hands-on and fast-moving. Each shift involves a mix of physical tasks and team coordination to ensure the store is stocked, organized, and ready for opening. Here’s what a typical night looks like on the job:

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening, including labelling and setting up displays
• Setting, merchandising, and signing promotional features throughout the store
• Unloading trailers and completing live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Labelling and placing merchandise in backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight shift
• Stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service when needed
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
