Walmart Canada’s store in Quebec City is currently hiring an Associé de nuit (Night Associate) on a temporary fixed-term basis. Working as part of a dedicated overnight team, you’ll be responsible for everything from unloading trailers and pulling pallets to labelling merchandise and making sure the store is set up perfectly before customers walk through the doors. It’s physical, team-oriented work that plays a direct role in the daily success of the store.

About the Role: Associé de nuit

The primary focus of this position is to support the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, moving pallets, processing stock, and ensuring that everything is labelled and organized in backroom bins before the store opens. A key differentiator of the overnight role compared to day or evening shifts is the stronger emphasis on labelling and backroom stocking.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is a core part of this job. You’ll follow company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and make sure displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift. Collaboration and communication with your teammates is essential to getting through the nightly workload efficiently.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a minimum rate of $18.75 per hour. Responsibilities

As a night associate at Walmart Canada, your shift will revolve around making sure the store is fully stocked, signed, and ready before it opens its doors. From the moment you start, you’ll be working as part of a coordinated team to move merchandise efficiently and safely through the store. Here’s what a typical shift looks like:

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening each night
• Setting, merchandising, and signing product features throughout the store
• Unloading trailers and completing live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Labelling merchandise and placing stock in backroom bins as a key overnight priority
• Stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service when needed
• Labelling the sales floor to ensure everything is clearly signed for store opening
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are properly secured
