About the Role: Area Manager II, AMZL
At the heart of this position is people leadership. You’ll be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of hourly associates, ensuring they stay engaged, productive, and safe throughout their shifts. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams like Safety, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to develop and execute operational plans that meet Amazon’s delivery commitments to customers.
This role requires physical readiness and adaptability. You’ll be working in a dynamic warehouse and delivery station environment that includes variable temperatures, varying noise levels, and outdoor loading areas. Standing and walking for up to 12 hours per shift and lifting up to 49 pounds are part of the day-to-day reality. Benefits and Salary
Amazon offers a competitive annual salary range of $75,000 to $105,000 CAD for this position across the Brampton, Mississauga, and Vaughan locations. Total compensation may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities
As an Area Manager II, your day revolves around keeping your team performing at their best while hitting Amazon’s operational targets. From mentoring associates to collaborating with cross-functional partners, your decisions directly affect whether customers get their packages on time and intact.

- Adapt to variable conditions including fluctuating noise levels, temperatures, and outdoor loading departments
- Navigate stairs continuously throughout a shift at sites where applicable
Requirements / Skills

- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience — direct team leadership is essential for this role

- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques (preferred) to drive continuous operational gains
