Key Responsibilities

As an Area Manager II, you will be responsible for leading your team to success by maintaining high standards in safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Your ability to collaborate and adapt in a dynamic environment will be key to your success in this role.

  • Support, mentor, and motivate a team of hourly associates.
  • Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources.
  • Oversee operations in variable environments, including loud noise levels and fluctuating temperatures.
  • Continuously evaluate performance metrics to identify and implement process improvements.

Your role will involve problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making to optimize operations and deliver exceptional results. As a leader, you’ll play a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment.

What You Bring

We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a drive for operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2+ years with Amazon’s blue badge/FTE preferred).
  • Proven ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred: Experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Amazon offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Our total compensation package includes:
