About the Role: AI Sales Specialist Manager
As an AI Sales Specialist Manager at Google Cloud, you’ll lead a team focused on expanding Google’s AI business by building relationships with both new and existing enterprise customers. You’ll work cross-functionally with Field Sales, Customer Developers, Solution Architects, and Product teams to ensure your team is equipped to demonstrate AI product functionality, articulate key business use cases, and close deals. Your leadership will directly influence how Canadian organizations leverage Google Cloud’s AI technology stack to transform their operations.
Beyond team management, you’ll own the go-to-market plan for your territory, covering revenue growth, net new customer acquisition, customer expansion, and retention. You’ll represent your business in forecasts and town halls, manage performance reporting through Salesforce, and cultivate an empathetic, high-performing team culture. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be both a people leader and a strategic driver, balancing day-to-day team coaching with high-level business planning. Your responsibilities span pipeline management, customer relationship ownership, and cross-functional collaboration — all in service of growing Google Cloud’s AI business in Canada.
- Lead pipeline development by supporting your team through full sales cycles, from lead generation to customer onboarding, ensuring sales goals are consistently met and exceeded
- Own the go-to-market plan for your territory, covering key business metrics including revenue, net new customer growth, customer expansion, and retention
- Build and maintain CXO-level relationships with top customers, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying transformative AI use cases for Google Cloud products and solutions
- Partner cross-functionally with Field Sales, Customer Developer, Solution Architecture, and Product teams to shape messaging and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Represent your business in forecasts, town halls, and executive meetings, using Salesforce and other tools to report performance accurately

Requirements / Skills
Google is seeking a seasoned sales leader with deep expertise in enterprise AI or cloud technology and a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams. The ideal candidate combines strategic business acumen with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the transformative potential of AI.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
- 12+ years of experience in a sales role within the enterprise software, cloud, or AI space
- Leadership experience within a quota-carrying team — including people management, team lead responsibilities, mentorship, or coaching
- Experience identifying AI use cases to address customer challenges or selling AI technology to enterprise clients
- Go-to-market planning experience, including organizing business programs and managing sales activity across a defined territory
- Analytical ability to interpret sales performance data and market trends to inform strategic direction
- Strong cross-functional influence skills with a track record of driving business goals and improving customer experience
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and relevant AI offerings is a strong asset
- Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills, along with solid program management capabilities
