About the Role: Account Manager, K-12 Education
As an Account Manager on Google’s Education team, your primary focus will be selling and growing the adoption of Google for Education products — including Gemini, Gemini Notebook, cloud-based productivity tools, and operating systems — across education institutions in Western Canada. You’ll act as both a trusted advisor and a results-driven sales professional, balancing new business development with long-term account nurturing.
Success in this role means working cross-functionally with internal program, product, marketing, and adjacent sales teams, as well as collaborating with external reseller partners. You’ll contribute to territory planning and provincial-level engagement strategies, ensuring Google’s education solutions reach the institutions and learners who need them most.

Responsibilities
This role centres on driving the adoption of Google for Education solutions across Western Canada’s K-12 institutions. You’ll be balancing relationship management, strategic sales, and cross-functional collaboration on a daily basis — here’s what that looks like in practice:
- Manage a book of accounts selling and driving adoption of Google for Education solutions among education institutions across Western Canada, making new connections and nurturing long-term relationships
- Drive adoption of Google technologies among accounts and identify new opportunities; develop strategies to increase daily active usage (DAU) of Gemini and Gemini Notebook among education institutions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across school divisions, districts, and associated institutions
- Build solutions and close sales in collaboration with internal Google teams and external reseller partners
- Contribute to territory planning and provincial-level engagement strategies
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in technology sales or account management and hands-on experience in the Canadian education sector. The ideal person understands the nuances of institutional decision-making and is comfortable working at the executive level within primary and secondary education environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience in technology sales, account management, or consultative work with executive leaders in primary/secondary education in Canada
- Experience with education technology product suites, including AI tools, cloud-based productivity tools, and operating systems
- 3 years of experience in the education technology sector (preferred)
- Experience navigating complex institutional decision-making and large-scale public sector procurement processes (preferred)
- Ability to communicate in French or English fluently to support client relationship management in the region (preferred)
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with program, product, marketing, and adjacent sales teams to drive product adoption and sales (preferred)
