About the Role: Account Manager, Business and Industrial Markets

As an Account Manager on the LCS team, your day-to-day centres on building deep partnerships with key clients. You’ll lead strategic meetings to uncover marketing objectives, develop data-driven advertising strategies, and ensure campaigns deliver measurable results. This isn’t a passive support role — you’ll be actively pitching solutions, managing objections, and pushing for continuous growth across your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse campaign data to ensure performance is accurately tracked and that results align with client objectives
  • Monitor performance metrics to extract key insights, identify upsell opportunities, and build a healthy pipeline for future customer growth

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for someone who combines commercial instincts with a genuine curiosity for technology and advertising. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in complex, matrixed environments and knows how to build trust with senior stakeholders while keeping a sharp focus on results.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting
  • Master’s degree in a business-related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization — at least 2 years (preferred)
  • Digital marketing and advertising experience — at least 1 year managing campaigns, projects, and client or agency relationships (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
