About the Role: Video Account Executive, Automotive
As a Video Account Executive, your core focus will be growing Google’s automotive video business in Canada. You’ll serve as a trusted consultant to clients, translating their marketing goals into powerful media strategies built around YouTube and cross-platform video solutions. Responsibilities

- Build high-level relationships as a trusted advisor, navigating complex agency and client dynamics to optimise video and brand performance across major automotive OEMs
- Craft and execute end-to-end media strategies, aligning channel planning, creative tactics, and measurement frameworks directly with client outcomes
- Manage a sales pipeline, delivering accurate performance forecasts while continuously identifying new, transformative growth opportunities
- Consult and guide clients on how to best leverage Google’s video solutions, from increasing brand awareness to building deeper connections with their target audience
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for a seasoned professional who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on sales experience to the table. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating executive relationships, working in cross-functional environments, and translating data into compelling business cases for digital video advertising.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
- 8 years of experience in sales, digital advertising, business development, or digital marketing — or 6 years with an advanced degree
- Video or digital advertising experience in online branding or marketing is strongly preferred
- Client partnership experience with advertising products or marketing/ad technology, including pitching, consulting, or product demonstrations
- Executive-level facilitation skills with a track record of building strong, influential relationships at senior levels
- Analytical sales approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments, both internally and externally
