About the Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader at Dollarama Edmonton, you’ll take ownership of the store floor alongside management. Your day-to-day will include leading and supervising store associates, overseeing shelf stocking and daily shipments, and carrying out manager-on-duty responsibilities such as tracking breaks and attendance. You’ll also play a key role in implementing visual merchandising strategies set by the company and participating in both the inventory process and employee training and evaluations.
Beyond the operational side, you’ll be the go-to person for customer service escalations, ensuring complaints are addressed promptly and professionally. Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, your role touches nearly every aspect of store operations. From guiding associates on the floor to managing cash and closing duties, you’ll keep things running smoothly while upholding Dollarama’s standards for service, safety, and merchandising.
- Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance and support
- Oversee merchandising responsibilities including shelf stocking, and boxing and unboxing daily shipments
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met across the store
- Conduct manager-on-duty tasks including monitoring daily breaks, time, and attendance
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company strategy
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Uphold store safety and cleanliness standards and contribute to their ongoing maintenance
- Perform cash management as well as store opening and closing duties as required
- Participate in inventory counts and the overall inventory management process
- Support employee training and take part in performance evaluations
Requirements / Skills
