Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

The Store Manager is accountable for the full operation of a Dollarama retail location. From leading your team to managing the back-end logistics of the store, you’ll be the go-to person for everything that keeps the store running effectively and in line with company standards.

• Oversee all day-to-day store operations, ensuring the store runs efficiently and meets company expectations
• Lead merchandising activities, including product placement and floor presentation in accordance with Dollarama guidelines
• Recruit and train new employees, building a capable and motivated team
• Manage staff scheduling based on store operational needs and fluctuating demand
• Coordinate inventory management, including stock levels, receiving, and organization
• Uphold store standards by ensuring all operations align with Dollarama’s best practices and company guidelines
• Organize priorities effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Requirements / Skills

Dollarama is looking for a candidate who brings proven retail management experience and the leadership presence to guide a team through a high-volume, fast-moving environment. You’ll need to be organized, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of store results.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the retail industry
• Minimum 1 year of team management experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct store staff effectively
• Time management and prioritization ability to handle competing demands in a dynamic retail setting
• Comfortable with physical demands including use of ladders, up and down movements, and heavy lifting
• Available to work 40–50 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as required
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
