About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

As a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Greater Sudbury, your primary focus is on cart management, customer assistance, and maintaining a safe, hazard-free environment. You’ll collect carts from corrals and the parking lot, return them to designated storage areas following Walmart-approved procedures, and ensure all required logs are completed accurately. You’ll also respond to requests from registers and the customer service desk, including helping shoppers with carry-outs and carry-ins.

Beyond cart duties, the role includes light cleaning and maintenance tasks — including restrooms — and strict adherence to safety protocols such as hazardous communication, lockout/tagout procedures, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines. You’ll wear required personal protective equipment including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, and perform regular safety sweeps to keep both customers and associates safe.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75/hour. • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties including restrooms, following proper chemical handling, disposal, and equipment guidelines
• Complete equipment inspections before each use to ensure safe operation
• Follow all safety protocols including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen procedures
• Wear required PPE including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest at all times while on the job
• Perform safety sweeps as required and adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store needs
