About the Role: Stockperson / Cartpusher PT

As a Stockperson/Cartpusher at the Walmart Uxbridge store, you’ll be responsible for collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter, returning them to designated storage areas using Walmart-approved procedures. You’ll also respond to requests from registers and customer service, assist with carry-outs and carry-ins, and verify receipts when needed.

Responsibilities

This role keeps you active and engaged throughout every shift. From managing the cart collection process to supporting customers at the door, you’ll be a key part of the store’s daily operations and front-line service delivery.

  • Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas using Walmart-approved procedures
  • Complete required logs accurately to ensure cart collection activities are properly documented
  • Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry-outs and carry-ins
  • Verify receipts for proof of purchase when required as part of customer service duties
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties including restrooms, following established guidelines for chemical handling and safe use of power equipment
  • Complete equipment inspections before use and adhere to all safety and emergency protocols including hazardous communication and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Wear required PPE including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, and complete safety sweeps as required
  • Work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
