About the Role: Stock Unloader Associate

As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is on the back-end logistics of the store — unloading and sorting trailers, processing general merchandise, and ensuring product reaches the sales floor in an organized and timely manner. You’ll also handle the cold chain process for refrigerated and frozen goods, which requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Beyond the physical unloading work, you’ll contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment by following company policies and completing safety sweep logs. When needed, you’ll step in to assist customers on the sales floor, making customer service awareness part of the role as well.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day work for a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart involves a combination of physical labour, organization, and safety awareness. Each shift plays an important role in making sure the store is well-stocked and ready for customers.

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area at the start of each shift
• Unload and sort general merchandise from incoming trailers
• Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise to ensure nothing is left behind
• Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen product receiving and stocking
• Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas
• Contribute to a safe environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
