Overnight Associate – Walmart – Toronto, Ontario

Walmart Canada’s Toronto location on Lawrence Avenue West is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their store team. This is a hands-on, physical role that keeps the store running smoothly so that customers always find what they need when they walk through the doors each morning.

Working overnight means your shift has a direct impact on the in-store experience. From unloading trailers and pulling pallets to stocking shelves and labelling the sales floor before opening, you’ll be an essential part of the operation that makes a Walmart store function at its best.

About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving dock through to the sales floor. Unlike day or evening fulfillment roles, this position places a stronger emphasis on backroom labelling and bin stocking, as well as preparing displays and signage so the store is ready for customers at open. You’ll work as part of a team, strategically planning and executing tasks based on nightly workload and operational priorities.

Safety and cleanliness are central to this role. You’ll be expected to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Walmart’s company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and making sure all displays and fixtures are properly secured throughout your shift.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75 per hour. • Label merchandise and backroom bins — a key differentiator from day and evening fulfillment roles
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
