Stock Unloader Associate – Walmart – Ottawa, ON

Walmart Canada’s Ottawa location on Terminal Avenue is looking for a Stock Unloader Associate to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis working the 3pm–11pm shift. About the Role: Stock Unloader Associate

As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada, you’re a core part of the overnight receiving and stocking process. Your work begins at receiving — unloading general merchandise trailers, completing live unloads, and ensuring all product is accounted for and moved appropriately. You’ll be pulling pallets to the sales floor, helping with stocking duties as assigned, and labelling and placing overstock merchandise in designated areas to support inventory management.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is central to the role. You’ll follow Walmart’s policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure that displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift. When customers need assistance, you’ll also step in to support a positive shopping experience. Flexibility is key — you’ll be expected to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the store’s operational needs.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum starting rate of pay for this position is $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

This role covers a range of physical and organizational tasks that keep Walmart’s Ottawa store stocked, safe, and customer-ready. You’ll be working consistently across receiving, stocking, and floor support functions during your shift — each task contributing directly to the store’s daily success.

• Unload trailers and prepare the receiving area, including completing live unloads of remaining merchandise
• Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products during handling and transport
• Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as directed to ensure shelves are filled and organized
• Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management
• Provide customer service when needed to support a positive in-store shopping experience
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the store’s business needs

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
