This role sits within CTDi and reports directly to the Manager, Paid Social. Day-to-day, you’ll be the technical and analytical backbone of the team — trafficking campaigns, monitoring delivery, and surfacing insights that keep performance on track. About the Role: Specialist, Paid Social
The Specialist, Paid Social is responsible for the full lifecycle of paid social campaign management — from initial set-up through ongoing optimization. You’ll manage campaigns across multiple social buying platforms, keep internal and external stakeholders aligned on performance and pacing, and deliver regular reporting and analysis. The role demands someone who can juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously while staying detail-oriented and solutions-focused.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners, serving as a key point of contact on campaign health. When delivery or pacing issues arise, you’ll be expected to troubleshoot quickly and escalate where necessary. Benefits and Salary
Canadian Tire offers a salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per annum for this position, with final compensation dependent on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Responsibilities
As the Specialist, Paid Social at CTDi, you’ll be hands-on with campaign execution from start to finish. Your work directly impacts the performance of Canadian Tire’s paid social media investment, making accuracy, responsiveness, and analytical thinking essential every day.
- Manage the day-to-day implementation of paid social media campaigns across multiple buying platforms including set-up, monitoring, and optimization
- Facilitate regular check-ins with internal and external partners to guide and oversee campaign performance, pacing, and general campaign management
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery and pacing issues, supporting the team in addressing immediate concerns as they arise
- Provide recommendations on tactics, audiences, placements, and pacing for social marketing campaigns
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by the team and stakeholders
Requirements / Skills

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing paid campaigns on social platforms

- Familiarity with data management platforms used in digital advertising
- Microsoft Excel proficiency — comfortable with reporting, data analysis, and campaign tracking
