The Service Deli Clerk at Costco St. John’s covers a wide range of food preparation and kitchen duties. Responsibilities

As a Service Deli Clerk, your day-to-day work centres on food preparation, quality control, and sanitation. You’ll be involved at every stage — from prepping raw ingredients to packaging finished products — making this a varied and active role on the warehouse floor.

  • Prepare and cook rotisserie chickens, ribs, and entrees using commercial and rotisserie ovens
  • Assemble party trays, take-and-bake pizzas, salads, and prepared meals following Costco formulas and diagrams
  • Slice vegetables for salads, entrees, and garnishes on prepared foods
  • Package, wrap, seal, weigh, and label products using an automated wrapping machine
  • Stock and rotate the display case to maintain freshness and visual standards
  • Monitor finished products to ensure consistency and quality standards are met at all times
  • Complete daily documentation including production forms, time and temperature records, and sanitation checklists
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and the deli area; operate the trash compactor and cardboard bailer
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service throughout each shift
  • Assist in other areas of the department or warehouse as needed

Requirements / Skills
