About the Role: Member Service Assistant

Responsibilities
The Member Service Assistant role covers a broad range of duties that support both member experience and warehouse security. Every shift brings a mix of direct member interaction and behind-the-scenes safety work that keeps the warehouse operating properly.
- Greet and welcome members entering the warehouse, verifying membership cards and offering carts as needed
- Conduct hourly warehouse safety and security inspections on foot, identifying and correcting hazards such as spills, trip hazards, and blocked exits
- Track member entry counts using a handheld counter and report half-hourly totals to the Front End, recording results on weekly reports
- Monitor warehouse access and discreetly observe armored transport vehicle deposits, jewellery and register drawer set-up and pick-up while holding a panic button
- Check member receipts at exit, comparing receipts to merchandise, marking with a highlighter, and thanking members on their way out
- Provide prompt and courteous service, directing members to products and services, assisting with loading and shopping, and drying off wet carts
- Perform after-hours security checks from your personal vehicle, monitoring the exit door and warehouse perimeter by 2-way radio, and reporting any suspicious activity to the duty manager
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements / Skills
