Responsibilities

Working on the electronics and major appliances floor, this role requires you to be knowledgeable, attentive, and well-organized. You’ll be supporting members throughout their shopping journey while also keeping the department in top shape — from stocked shelves to clean, well-maintained displays.

  • Assist members on the sales floor by answering questions, demonstrating products, and explaining features of electronics, major appliances, and jewellery
  • Support members in loading merchandise onto their carts as needed
  • Stay current on technology trends by reading industry magazines, product reviews, and experimenting with merchandise to understand specifications
  • Communicate with the Area Manager regarding product quantities, pricing, delivery schedules, and promotions
  • Maintain displays by following merchandising standards — setting up, cleaning, facing, aligning, and stocking product to keep levels high
  • Process member returns by checking and approving returned product and ensuring accurate signage and price marking
  • Participate in merchandise moves, review stocking lists, and assist with stocking aisles
  • Manage security lock-up for high-value items and maintain a clean sales floor by clearing debris and sweeping
  • Assist in other warehouse areas as required

Requirements / Skills

Costco is looking for candidates who are customer-focused, product-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-moving warehouse retail setting. A genuine interest in electronics and technology will go a long way in this role, as will the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members.
