Responsibilities

• Assist patients at the counter, retrieve prescriptions, and process register transactions per established procedures
• Communicate with patients regarding OTC products and refer to the pharmacist when appropriate
• Provide prescription counselling education under the direction of the pharmacist, depending on competency level and provincial regulations
• Identify and recruit patients eligible for the medication review program and assist with medication review services
• Help develop and implement plans to run Costco Pharmacy’s Health Promotion Clinics
• Stock and organize drugs, supplies, and OTC merchandise, and help keep the pharmacy clean and well-organized

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate for this Pharmacy Student role is currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program and registered with the appropriate provincial College.
