Senior Solutions Architect, Financial Services – Amazon Web Services – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) practice in Toronto, Ontario. This is a senior-level technical role for someone who understands the complexities of the financial services industry and can translate cloud capabilities into real business value for enterprise customers.
In this role, you’ll work closely with FSI customers — from banks and insurers to fintech firms — guiding them through their cloud adoption journey and helping architect solutions that are scalable, secure, and resilient. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor while also collaborating with the AWS sales team to drive growth across a diverse customer base.
About the Role: Senior Solutions Architect, Financial Services
As a Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, your primary focus is building deep, lasting relationships with FSI customers and helping them design and implement cloud architectures that solve real business challenges. You’ll engage in everything from high-level strategic conversations with executives to hands-on technical deep-dives with engineering teams. You’ll help customers modernize their infrastructure, migrate workloads, and adopt AWS services in a way that aligns with their regulatory and operational requirements.
Beyond customer-facing work, you’ll contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives — writing white-papers, blogs, and internal resources — and act as a liaison between customers and AWS service engineering teams. You’ll also benefit from a comprehensive learning programme that includes self-paced courses, instructor-led training, and hands-on projects to keep your technical skills sharp and growing.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position in Toronto is $146,000 to $211,600 CAD annually.
